Movie Review: Napoleon Dynamite
Okay, I know this isn't a brand new film since it has been out for a few weeks now, but today I treated myself to a movie after I finally got all my work done. If you have seen this movie, you know this was a great movie. If not, go and see it. Otherwise you'll have to wait for it on DVD. Writing is great, acting is great, and the soundtrack(Forever Young, Promise) is great. Any of you guys that are in your mid 20s to early 30s will definitely relate to this movie. Okay I know it isn't much of a review, but just see the damn movie.

Wrong number
Tonight I found out what Amber's favorite song. It's a song called "All That I Am" by Elvis Presley. Not one of his commercial successes, but I've heard the song at least once in my life sung by my father as he is a big Elvis Presley fan. Ironically I always had this song stored in my iPod. So I decided to take a well deserved break from studying for midterms and began listening to this song on a single repeat and started to doze off. With the music playing, I drifted off into a dream and began to envision Amber. But then suddenly I was awoken by my cell phone. Damn wrong number!

First Test
I hate first tests. I always feel stupid coming out of it. It made me realize that the stuff I studied strong on were the wrong things. I wouldn't say I failed my Foundations of Mathematics test. But I'm going to have to re-examine my studying habits for this class. I have another midterm on Monday in Probability. I'll see how that goes. Can I use the excuse that it's homecoming week here at OSU?
Turn off leads to points off on perception
Okay, so I've been eyeing this one girl in my Math class since I started school in late September. She reminds me of a midwestern Reese Witherspoon...you know blonde hair, blue eyes, beautiful face, and about the same height as her. You people from the midwest know what I mean. Found out that she was in my other Math class so my chances were getting better to approach her. Well yesterday we finally spoke and found out that she is a Math major. Go figure. There are fine Math majors? Hmm! Today I had my first midterm and as I was walking out of class I saw her light up a cig. That was a big turn off for me. I not saying that people shouldn't smoke, I mean everyone around me (cousins, sister, friends) smokes, so whatever you want to do to your body is up to you. But I guess when her I saw her light up, it just brought her down a few points on the overall perception on her. Damn I thought things were looking up! I have a Probability with her tomorrow afternoon. I'll see how it goes.
